This is a pair of pantaloons that made it to New Jersey just as the hurricane came through...
These cute pantaloons started out as a pair of cotton pants that had a wide elastic and s draw string...I cut the waist band off so that the crotch would be higher and the waist would be lower...I cut the legs off and added that material as the new pockets. I ran a strip through the hem to create a drawstring to the pockets that matched the waist...

The pant hem is full of bits and pieces of crochet, lace, old curtain and bed skirt...she is as prairie as you can get...

I recently sold this whole outfit...The blouse, the belt and the skirt......It turned out beautiful and is wonderful in person...

The blouse was the bottom part of a cotton night gown, the belt is full of tattered rags and is quiet lovely.
The skirt started out as a cotton tablecloth and the trim is a crochet table runner...very nice.

This was a very ugly vest...The only thing going for it is that it is linen...I took off the awful button and stitched it close to the edge. I cut the neckline and added a lovely cotton trim.
The hem is full of bits and pieces of vintage...and the back is one whole doily...

THE TEA DYED LOOK GREATLY ENHANCES MY PIECES...

I received a shipment of dollies, buttons and crochet lace ribbon a few days ago from a client, I was so excited when I opened the box, it is like having a birthday every time one arrives.

blouses.

MY TEA DYED SEWING

My latest work has been fun to work on. I found this wonderful bodice in an old trunk that was just full of old doilies. I was so excited I think I must have done a little jig. The measurement at the breast is 36 inches. I love it.
The front is an old pillow sham and the back is an old tablecloth. I used doilies, lace, ripped sheets, lace curtain and a cuff off another old blouse.Size: Loose Small to Tight Medium
Price:$85.00
SORRY, this little jewel has been SOLD...

This beautiful blouse started with the wonderful crochet doilie at the bodice that was in that same old trunk. I still can't believe my luck on that day. There are doilies and ribbon and lots of other bits and pieces.
The lopes in the front are actually old curtain rings, but the ivory color matched it perfectly and I couldn't resist.
The back is open and has a button and ribbon loop as well as the bow tied ribbon is made to pull tight or loose to make it very adjustable.
Of course a pretty camisole or tee shirt is to be worn with this blouse but either way  will be wonderful. Size Medium to Large. Price: $65.00
SORRY, this piece has been SOLD...
